About this farm

Schmidt Road Ranch is a family farm at 5990 Guerneville Road in Sebastopol, California, in the family since 1939 with some apple trees planted in 1887. It sits about an eighth of a mile from where Luther Burbank first introduced Gravenstein apples to America in 1887. The heritage trees still produce disease- and pest-free apples, and the ranch also grows bay leaves. A farm stand operates in the driveway and visitors are welcome to order or stop by.
