Submit a farm or market listing

HarvestlyMarkets is built from the public USDA Local Food Portal, but no single feed is complete. Real, working farms — small u-picks, farm stands, and CSAs that sell direct — are often missing simply because they never registered with the USDA. And listings drift out of date: hours change, websites move, markets close for the season or for good. This page is how you fix both.

What you can submit

How we handle it (and why it's not instant)

Every submission lands in a moderation queue and is reviewed by a person before anything changes on the site. We do not auto-publish user submissions — doing so would flood a small, carefully-maintained directory with unverified entries, and that's exactly the kind of thin, unchecked content we built HarvestlyMarkets to avoid. When we review your submission we cross-check it against the business's own website (which is why a working website link helps a lot), confirm the place is real and currently operating, and only then add or update the listing on our next data refresh.

The more detail you give us, the faster it clears review. A name plus a working website is usually enough for us to verify an addition; for a correction, tell us exactly what's wrong and what it should be.

Fields marked optional can be left blank. Your email is only used if we need to follow up — we don't add you to anything.

What are you submitting?

A working website is the single most helpful thing — it's how we verify the place before publishing.
